まだまだ寒い日が続いてます。皆様風邪などひいていませんか？

Still feel like mid-winter. How are you spending the little remainig of this winter? Recently, I've started reading The Neverending Story. This is actually the book I got for my son who is not a eager reader at all
and I'm the one who is absorbed in it. I'm rather an omnivorous
reader but this one is really inspiring my imagination. Don't take it as a trival kid's fantasy .



ミミロッコでは、お雛様がお目見えしましたよ。我が家にも飾ってありますが、さすがここのお二人は品格がありますね～。いつも行事には、お菓子などでお・も・て・な・しの精神を発揮している当館ですが、ひなまつりにも何かあるかなぁ。花より団子なものですから。














Well, at mimilocco, we've diplayed the Hina dolls. March 3rd is the girl's festival　(Hinamatsuri) and we display dolls. Originally, Hina dolls consist of a stair-like　stage with more than 20 dolls. Prince and princess on the top, servants and neccessary articles follow. Nowadays, it is rare to see the whole　set of Hina-doll mostly due to the housing condition.
Although, at　least, we can enjoy the atmosphere of Hinamatsuri by displaying just the two of them. Why not visit us and take a look?

はじめまして。ミミロッコのコーデイネートをしております。

オーナーの想いを色に変換して伝えていくのが私の主な仕事なんですが・・・

ミミロッコのエレベーターに入るとそこはきれいなブルーなんです。淡いベージュの扉が開くとそこはまさしく青い空間なんです。

初めて来られた方は、扉の向こうの意外な色にちょっとビックリ！・・・・でも、色に込めたメッセージがあるんですよ。

この話の続きは、また書きますね。

























Hello, I am Keiko and I work as a coordinator at Mimilocco.

My primary job is to convert into a concrete color such wishes or
general ideas expressed by the owner of Mimilocco.

When you take an elevator in mimilocco, after the elevator door of
beige color being opened, you will see the space in blue.

Any first comer will be amazed at the unexpected color beyond
the elevator door.

But, we have a message that we have infused into the color.

　皆さん、こんばんわ。今日は、あまり日差しはなかったけど暖かい一日でしたねでも、インフルエンザの流行も本格化してきているし、明日からはまた寒くなりますし・・・言っても、まだ1月ですからね。

　Hello. It was cloudy though mild weather, wasn't it? But don't forget it's still January . Flu seems to be spreading elswhere and forecast tells us the temperture is going to drop again from tomorrow.

　二月の楽しみと言えば、節分です。我が家は行事やイベントが大好きなので　もちろん毎年頑張ってエッホエッホ、あちこちに酢飯をまき散らしながら、巻き寿司を作っております。手の込んだ料理って、出来上がるまで時間かかるんだけど食べるのは一瞬だからな～


　Here in Japan, we have an event
called "setsubun,'' which literally means
''division of seasons.''It used to
mark the end of winter and summer.
On this day, in a custom called
mame-maki, people throw and scatter roasted soy beans inside and outside their houses while saying, "Get goblins out of the house! Invite happiness into the home!"


　Then we also enjoy eating　'' Ehoumaki,'' a long, rolled sushi with cucumber,egg　and other ingredients　in it, wrapped with dry seaweed.
''Ehou'' means '' lucky direction.'' Every year, this lucky direction changes and let me see… this year is・・・・
one direction!! Oooops, no, sorry…　Ｉt's northeast- east.
　You position yourself toward this direction and finish up your long sushi without saying a single word. It is said that the luck gets away if you　start talking.　No chatting or No poking. Remain silent.




　ミミロッコでも、このシーズンになると　豆や節分ならではのお菓子が館内あちこちに飾られます。このように、入居者の方たちに季節感を感じて頂くことが　当館のモットーであります。…と言いながら、スタッフも楽しんじゃっています

　We Mimilocco love to entertain our residents. We display assorted　 ''mame''(beans) and other snacks related to Setsubun.

　 For non-Japanese blog readers, why not try this unique custom this year? Oh, for someone who don't care much for sushi, you may find
other snacks resembling ''Ehoumaki''.

　受験シーズンですね。終わってホッとした人、これからの人・・今までの頑張りを全て発揮できること祈っています。という私も、甥っ子が無事志望中学に合格し、胸を撫でおろしています。本当に最近の子供たちの勉強の過酷さったら・・なので、彼が今「進撃の巨人」に没頭しようが誰も何も言いません。

　It is now the time of entrance exam all over Japan. I wish every student could perform their best. I’m no exception. My nephew has passed his test for the junior high school. He has spent grueling years studying, so there is no wonder why he is absorbed in reading manga ‘Attack of the Titans’ and why my sister won’t blame that.

　さて、学校と言えば、ミミロッコのある芦屋市船戸町はどこの学校に通うにもアクセスが便利。JRが目の前にあるのはもちろん、阪急電鉄も徒歩10分ほど。人気の私立学校は選択肢も広がるし、公立学校もわざわざ校区外から引っ越してくる家族もいるほど。芦屋市内の小学校は給食が美味しいことに定評があり、献立には郷土料理や世界各国の料理も含まれているんですよ。これは小学生にはテッパン要素。















Talking about schools, commute to many popular schools, colleges and international schools from Mimilocco is very convenient. Public schools in Ashiya have a good reputation in their eagerness and, above all, their school lunch. That’s crucial, isn’t it?

　そして、スクールバスもあるので、カナデイアンアカデミー等のインターナショナルスクールに通うにも便利です。

　子育てにも優しい芦屋、そして子供が大好きなお姉さんお兄さん（20年前は・・何人かはもっと前か・・・）がフロントにいるミミロッコにどうぞいらして下さい。

　今日は、朝起きて雪がうっすら積っていたことにビックリしました。普段なら運動不足解消のため歩いて出勤するんだけど、今日は挫折・・・朝8時からフロント業務は開始なので　まだ夢の中の旦那様を無理矢理起こしてミミロッコまで送ってもらいました。感謝感謝。

　It was quite a surprise to wake up and see the snow slightly covering the streets. Mimilocco front desk opens from 8 in the morning so I woke my husband up and asked him to give me a ride. Of course, at the
politest way I could ask and didn’t forget a big compliment ;
‘You are absolutely the best husband in the world!’


　さて、当館のロビーに飾っているお花やアレンジメントは1ヶ月に2回程、またはイベントに合わせて替えられます。特に、ロビー正面の大きなアレンジメントは圧巻です。専属のお花屋さんのセンスと手際の良さには　仕事の手を止め、しばし魅入ってしまうほどです。

　Well, when you once visit our apartment, a breathtaking flower arrangement will welcome you. It changes twice a month or at occasions. The skill and quickness of the florist is always something to see.

　皆様こんにちは。2014年になり、もう1月も半分過ぎてしまいましたね。
ミミロッコ、そして芦屋の魅力を皆様にお伝えできるようにブログをマメに更新するのが私の今年の抱負です。どうぞ、お付き合いくださいませ。

　さてさて、芦屋で有名なBar Raffinato、ミミロッコのななめ向かい、にあります。
寒いこの時期ホットチョコレートがあるのはご存知ですか。
お店で手作りのチョコレートを贅沢にも使っているんですよ。
熱燗もいいけど、たまにはあま～いドリンクもね。





　Hello, and welcome to Mimilocco staff blog.
My resolution for this year is be a big blogger to tell you about the
attraction of both Mimilocco and Ashiya.

To start with, let me tell you about my favorite bar or café located just across the street.
Bar Raffinato, it’s open from breakfast until midnight nightcap. What I recommend for this time of the season is hot chocolate.
Don’t take as a regular hot coco. It’s made of handmade chocolate.

Hot-sake might help you warm up but why not indulge yourself
with the bitter sweetness.
